1. Introduction

Welcome to Travel Masters World (Pvt) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing, browsing, or using our website, services, or booking any tour package, you (“client”, “customer”, “traveler”) agree to comply with the terms and conditions set out below.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made directly through Travel Masters World (Pvt) Ltd or through our website www.travelmasters.lk.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.


2. Booking & Reservations

2.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • A completed booking request is submitted.
  • A deposit or full payment (as required) is received.
  • A confirmation invoice is issued by Travel Masters World (Pvt) Ltd.

2.2 Deposit Requirements

Unless otherwise stated:

  • A minimum 30% deposit is required to secure the booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid prior to arrival or as specified on your invoice.

2.3 Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Bank transfers
  • Credit/debit cards (where applicable)
  • Online payment gateways
  • Cash payments at our office

The client must cover all bank fees, exchange charges, or transfer fees.


3. Prices & Inclusions

3.1 What’s Included

Package inclusions will be clearly mentioned in your itinerary and may include:

  • Accommodation
  • Transport with a private vehicle & driver
  • Meals (BB, HB, FB as stated)
  • Safari jeeps
  • Guide services
  • Government taxes

3.2 Exclusions

Unless specified, the following are not included:

  • Airfare
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Tips & personal expenses
  • Entrance fees & activities not listed
  • Early check-ins or late check-outs
  • Extra services requested by the client

3.3 Price Variations

Prices may change due to:

  • Seasonal demand
  • Hotel availability
  • Fuel price changes
  • Government tax changes
  • Currency fluctuations

We will notify you of any price adjustments before final confirmation.


4. Cancellations & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by the Client

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@travelmasters.lk.

Standard Cancellation Fees:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: 80% refund
  • Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund
  • No show: No refund

4.2 Cancellation by Travel Masters World (Pvt) Ltd

We reserve the right to cancel or modify the itinerary due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political instability
  • Safety concerns
  • Hotel or supplier unavailability
  • Any other unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, we will offer:

  • A full refund, or
  • An alternative package of equal value

4.3 Non-Refundable Components

Some services, such as safari tickets, train tickets, air tickets, and special event bookings, may be strictly non-refundable.


5. Travel Documents & Responsibility

5.1 Client Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Valid passport (minimum 6 months)
  • Entry visa
  • Travel insurance
  • Personal medical requirements
  • Correct name spelling in booking forms

5.2 Company Responsibility

We will assist you with:

  • Visa guidance
  • Travel planning
  • Itinerary customization
  • Booking confirmations

However, we are not responsible for visa rejections or delays due to government procedures.


6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance covering:

  • Medical expenses
  • Trip cancellations
  • Lost baggage
  • Emergencies

Travel Masters World (Pvt) Ltd is not liable for uninsured losses.


7. Safety & Conduct

7.1 Traveler Conduct

Clients must behave respectfully and safely during the tour. We may terminate services if a traveler:

  • Acts unlawfully
  • Harms wildlife or the environment
  • Harasses staff or other travelers
  • Refuses to follow safety instructions

7.2 Wildlife & Adventure Activities

Participation in safaris, hikes, water activities, or extreme adventures is at your own risk.
We are not liable for injuries resulting from such activities.


8. Changes to Itinerary

Travel Masters World (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic or road closures
  • Wildlife activity
  • Hotel availability
  • Unexpected events

We will always provide the best possible alternative.


9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss or damage of personal belongings
  • Delays caused by airlines or third parties
  • Natural disasters or unforeseen events
  • Accidents or injuries
  • Mistakes caused by incorrect client information

Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the tour.


10. Privacy Policy

We protect your personal data and only use it for travel arrangements.
We do not sell or share information with third parties except suppliers who require it (hotels, safari operators, etc.).


11. Intellectual Property

All content, text, images, itinerary descriptions, and website materials belong to Travel Masters World (Pvt) Ltd.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.


12. Governing Law

The laws of Sri Lanka govern these Terms & Conditions.
Any disputes will be settled in the appropriate courts of Sri Lanka.
